Universal Studios and Theme Park in Los Angeles, California.
It was here that the uncanny Lon Chaney, "The Man of 1,000 Faces" made his terrifying transformation into
"Eric, The Phantom of the Opera".
William Henry Pratt became Boris Karloff and Boris Karloff became the fearsome Frankenstein Monster.
But when the sound stage lights go off and the doors are locked for the night, the darkness holds stranger things than these: GHOSTS.
For decades it has been rumored that those who worked here for may years have not left their place of employ, even in death.
There are three ghosts rumored to abide here: the aforementioned Lon Chaney, Miss Barbara Stanwyck and an un-named electrician who fell to his death from a catwalk
high above the floor of Studio #28.
The ghost of Lon Chaney has been seen in the Prop Room and in one of the many rooms where costumes are stored.
A coldness has been felt in certain spots on Stage 28 which cannot be explained.
And of course, there have been unexplained things that have happened on the set of the hit TV Series "Ghost Whisperer".
Lights would move, unaided. Some lights would explode for no reason. Shapes would appear on film that weren't seen during filming and Orbs would appear above someone's head.
Hype for the show or is it real?
